Your Hard Surface Flooring Options:

  • Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT):

LVT is a multi-layered flooring product that is designed to look like hardwood, ceramic tile, or another type of flooring like stone. It is extremely durable, scratch-resistant, and waterproof making it an ideal choice for any room in your home.

  • Engineered Hardwood:

Engineered hardwood products utilize a thin veneer or wood over a structural plywood core. It can be refinished and re-stained for easy updates and repair and are equally resistant to humidity and cupping. They’re easy to clean, a simple wipe and regular vacuum are really all that is necessary, and also resist moderate wear and tear.

  • Solid Hardwood:

Traditional hardwood planks are milled from a single piece of lumber, and unlike engineered hardwood, are solid wood throughout the planks’ thickness. Like engineered hardwood, solid hardwood can be refinished and re-stained. Depending on the type of wood used and how it is treated, solid hardwood floors may be more prone to warping in humid or damp conditions. While it is also easy to clean with sweeping and vacuuming, damp-mopping should only be done occassionally.

  • Laminate Flooring:

Considered an inexpensive alternative to true hardwood, laminate is composed of melamine serving as the stabilizing layer, compressed wood, a photographic layer that looks like wood, and a final plastic coating. Planks are generally between five-sixteenths and three-eighths of an inch thick. We carry Lamdura, Wood Lux by Engineered Floors, Wood Tech by Engineered Floors, and Bruce Laminate.
